Day 11:
Good morning with an early and beautiful day on Samui Island. We got on mini van to Chawang pear. Our speed boat was nice and big. We got unlimited soft drinking on this boat but not beer. Wow! Today the weather was fantastic. Wind wasn't too strong and wasn't too big a wave. Before we started snorkeling, our captain stopped our boat and showed us an interesting island
which looked like money and another one looked like lion but some said like an elephant! My group took many pictures. The next stop was "Wow Island" where was wonderful spot for snorkeling. Everyone are ready to do snorkeling and see many kind of beautiful fish and colorful coral in this afternoon but before we jumped in we didn't forget to put sunscreen on. We got 1 hour to do snorkeling. After we got back on board we received nice and cool soft drinks to refresh us from local guide. Next our speed boat leaded us to Ang Thong Marine Park which is the big highlight in Samui area.
This island had a green lagoon in the middle and beautiful view point that we could take panoramic pictures. Next was our lunch time and it was sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls, chicken curry and fresh fruits. After lunch we put our towels on soft sand under coconut trees and lay down to sleeping while our local guide prepared our kayaks and paddles. When we heard signal voice from our guide that mean 'kayak time'! We couldn't wait, so grab paddle and got on kayak. It was warm but so nice to see many fish under our kayak. It took 1 hour for kayak and then time to went back from Ang Thong Marine park and swimming with many small and cute fish. My group loved kayaking in beautiful weather without any big waves. When we got back in our hotel some of us went to swimming which was great. We had dinner tonight at Thai local sea food restaurant and our table is just on the beach with a fantastic view. Today my group gets to explore the city by themselves. Some do to Thai massage after our kayaking! Some sit under big umbrella on the beautiful beach and read novels. Some take Thai cooking course and will soon know that Thai food cooking isn't easy. Others swim in hotel pool and drink some cocktails. They all came home so tired! We just went out for a group dinner in Chawang beach and I suggest them traditional dishes with just a small amount of spice to start. My group also enjoyed a lady boy show. It's interesting!
